Thursday afternoon the Cobblers’ ninth grade football team killed their East River opponent, Pierre,  40-8. Shane O’Connel had three touchdowns as fullback. Asher Pikula had an 82-yard touchdown. Nate Atherton had one pick. The easy win puts the freshmen team at a 7-1 record. Next week they play another East River team, Aberdeen Central.
