Any students that have ever been interested in visiting a different country now have a chance, because the Spanish Club of Central High School is going to Quito, Ecuador during the summer of 2016! As of right now there is no limit to how many kids are allowed to come. “It is not too late to sign up, so hurry,” says Mrs. Garcia.

The cost to go will be around $2,600, which is obviously a lot of money. However, there will be plenty of fundraisers to help raise the money. Students can do individual fundraising as well as participate in the group fundraisers which include car washes, bake sales, maybe a school dance, and many more.

This trip will be a service learning trip, which means students will get the chance to help out local people and also do some touring. To join Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Kranz on the trip out of this country, students will need to have completed Spanish 1 and Spanish 2, that way they can communicate a little bit with the local people of Ecuador!
