Tuesday was a great night for Central Volleyball’s seniors as they swept Sturgis with an impressive 3-0 win. For the seniors, it was an emotional night as they were honored before the game by the fans in the gym. Also, the Cobbler team and student section dressed in pink to support breast cancer awareness. But the most exciting event was the victory over the Scoopers.

“We played awesome as a team tonight, and really held it down on the court,” said senior Cortney Eaton. “We just have to remember never give up and put our all in it, we will keep getting more wins. Was an awesome way to have our senior night.”

Senior Karli O’Brien was also happy with the win. “It was an awesome way to celebrate senior night,” she said. “Our team played well. We got it done tonight.”

It was a huge win for the Cobblers and with full excitement from the victory over the Scoopers, the Cobblers will travel to Mitchell and Huron this weekend hoping to continue with the wins.
