The Central boys’ basketball team is off to a great start with nine wins and no losses after winning both of their games against Aberdeen and Pierre this past weekend. “We’re playing as a team both ends of the floor,” explained senior Camden Talley, a small forward for the Cobblers.

Senior shooting guard Dylan Hay explained the reason the team is so successful this season is because they “play like a family.” Hay led the Cobblers over the weekend, scoring sixteen points in Central’s last game against Pierre. “We have eleven seniors, and I think we all know it is our last season, which makes us play that much harder,” Hay explained.

The Cobblers now begin to prepare for their home game Thursday against Sturgis and their away game against Gillette this coming Friday in hopes of keeping their perfect record intact.
