Central High School Theatre has its upcoming auditions for “An Evening of One Acts” and they need you! If you can do have any of the skills listed above they would love to see you at auditions, which take place on Monday December 12th, for seniors and sophomores, and Tuesday December 13th, for juniors and freshman, with call backs on Wednesday December 14th.  Auditions will run from 3:45p.m. until about 6:00p.m. in the Central Theatre. Dress for movement! This means wear your most comfortable pair of sweat pants or gym shorts for your audition.

You will be auditioning for both One Acts, the student directed show “Heart’s Desire” and the state one act “Dublin: the Legend of Dagda.” “Heart’s Desire” will be directed by Central’s very own senior theatre student Samuel D. Poppen. It is a British absurdist comedy that is sure to bring on the laughs. “Dublin: the Legend of Dagda” will be an original piece written by Mr. Speck and the cast. It is to be a mythical ledged about the harp of Dagda, which causes war and anger between the different tribes of Dublin. It is sure to be another “Speck-tacku-Lore” show that will add to Central’s history books.

If you are interested in any of those two wonderful shows please stop by and talk to Mr. Speck or Mr. Lore. They hope you see you at auditions!
